NDIS Mentoring and Support Services

 

WE ARE YOUNG AND UNIQUE! All our team members have extensive experience in various sports. Each of us has been or currently is a competitive sports player or part of a regular sports team in the community. We love Fun, Healthier, and Active Lifestyle, just like you!

Our Team

  • PA Team : Supporting participants with physical activities, social and community participation, and development of daily living and life skills

  • ESSA Team : Providing exercise physiology services, physical activity programs and sport-specific training.

  • OT Team : Providing occupational therapy services to support participants in developing independence, Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) and reports.

About our mentors

Qualification and Training 

Our staff are appropriately qualified and trained according to their roles, responsibilities and the supports they provide. Relevant qualifications and training include, but are not limited to :

  • Relevant professional qualifications and/or certifications for their role

  • NDIS Worker Screen Check

  • Working with Children Check

  • How to Be Child Safe

  • NDIS Worker Orientation

  • Introduction to Autism

  • Supporting Effective Communication

  • Understanding Sensory Processing

  • Introduction to Visual Supports

  • Infection Prevention and Control

In addition, our mentors have the right qualifications by studying or completing University Degrees and/orCertificates that are related to our roles, such as:

  • Special Education

  • Sports & Exercise Science

  • Exercise Physiology

  • Physiotherapy

  • Health Science

  • Fitness Training
